The personal memoir of Jack Glotzer, covering his experiences of Jewish life in Rohatyn (today in western Ukraine) and the surrounding region, before, during, and after World War II. Jack Glotzer was one of the rare surviving Jewish witnesses of nearly all phases of the German occupation of the town, including the liquidation of the Jewish ghetto in Rohatyn, desperate life in the forests outside of town, service in the Soviet Army at the final phases of the war in Europe, and postwar life in displaced persons camps. Includes a family tree, a page of testimony, and a memory map.
